Sarah read law at the University of Manchester, UK. During her undergraduate studies, Sarah was awarded the first Stanley Peddie Book Prize which led to a pupillage with Messrs Tommy Thomas where she also started her legal career. Sarah dabbled in conveyancing for a couple of years before joining Sreenevasan in 2016.

Sarah handles a wide range of civil and commercial litigation ranging from representing corporate clients to private individuals. She has been involved in a series of complex and high value cases relating to fraud, breach of trust, and recovery of land. She was also part of the team that represented a former Attorney-General in a first-of-its-kind contempt of court proceedings in Malaysia.

Sarah is well-versed in intellectual property and regularly advises local and international clients on how best to protect and enforce their intellectual property rights in Malaysia. Her experience includes taking enforcement actions on social media and e-commerce sites, and engaging and liaising with the Ministry of Trade and Consumer Affairs to carry out raids and other criminal enforcement actions.

Sarah also has vast experience in employment matters. She has represented both employers and trade unions in the Industrial Court, High Court and appellate courts. Her experience includes litigating collective agreement disputes; advising corporations, and their boards and human resource teams on sensitive employment matters including claims of misconduct and harassment.

Sarah is passionate about public interest litigation and has represented farmers and squatters in land disputes.
